1942/1 "2 over 1" Mercury Dimes

In 1942 the Mint produced a rare variety called the 1942 "2 over1" Mercury Dime. This dime was the result of the year 1942 being stamped over a 1941 die. The "1" is clearly visible underneath the "2" making this a favorite of collectors.
